Bring the beauty of the rainforest home with this gorgeous spider!

The Pink Toe Tarantula is a stunning arboreal species known for its velvety black body and vibrant pink toes that stand out like little bursts of color (or, as I like to say, like she's wearing little ballet slippers!) A favorite among tarantula enthusiasts, these spiders are as fascinating as they are beautiful, showcasing calm and curious behavior when properly cared for.

Care Requirements:

  • Enclosure: Vertical enclosure with climbing structures and plenty of ventilation. Size of enclosure depends on the size of spider, but an adult can happily and safely be housed in a 12X12X18 enclosure, with room to spare. We recommend keeping a water dish up high rather than on the floor of their enclosure, as many avics are hesitant to roam at ground level.
  • Diet: Feeder insects such as crickets, roaches, or mealworms.
  • Behavior: Generally docile but can be quick and jumpy, making them more suitable for those comfortable with spiders, or those who already have experience with jumping spiders.

Pink Toes are an excellent introduction to tarantulas. Their striking appearance, gentle demeanor, and fascinating web-building habits make them a joy to observe.
